8 egg yolks, 50 grams castor sugar
1 vanilla pod, 600 ml of whipping cream
& most importantly.. preheat the oven to 180˚
now put the cream & vanilla pod in the pan
heat it up to scolding point
making sure that it does not boil
remove the vanilla pod & set it aside
whipping up a special treat
whipping up something sweet
I'm feeling under the weather
need a sugar hit to feel better
we're on our way... Creme Brulee

beat the egg yolks with the castor sugar
when it's light & fluffy stir in the warm cream
now place the mixture in a bowl
over a pan of simmering water
on a gentle heat..stirring all the time
now pour the custard into an ovenproof serving dish
place it in a roasting pan half filled with hot water
and bake for 12 minutes to create a good skin on top
refrigerate overnight.. next day to finish the brulees
sprinkle with castor sugar & place under a blazing hot grill
the sugar will melt & caramalize
allow to cool before serving
the top should be hard & crackly
oh oh oh ... Creme Brulee

& look, if by any chance the mixture is still a bit runny
put it back in the oven & cook for a further 5 minutes
remove it from the oven, serve at room temperature
or chilled...it's really up to you
so if you're feeling...I don't know.. dejected.. sad.. lonely
got noone special in your life, I highly recommend
making yourself.. a Creme Brulee
doesn't get much better... I tell ya !
